What is covered by your dental insurance?

Many insurance plans cover a portion or all of the treatments offered at Your Family Dentist. Our office will direct bill your insurance company for dental services. If the procedure is not covered 100% by your dental insurance plan, then you will have your portion to pay at the time of your visit. Payment of the portion not covered by your dental plan is expected from you on or before the day of treatment.
Depending on your insurance plan different procedures are paid differently by the insurance plan. This is why it is very important to determine your dental coverage prior to your first visit or in case when insurance plan has been changed. If we are not able to determine the amount of your dental coverage based on the information provided, full payment of your account is required.
Insurance company may deny your claim for different reasons, such as "service is not a covered expense", "policy terminated/not active", due to a waiting period or due to less common explanations. In this case we will bill your credit card, and will provide you with the appropriate documents so that your insurance can reimburse you directly or for any other reason, we will bill your credit card, and will forward the appropriate documents to you so that your insurance can reimburse you directly. (if necessary)

What if I do not have a dental insurance?

We know that many people do not have a dental insurance. At Your Family Dentist we don't want this to be a reason why you decide against getting the treatment that you need. We can arrange a third-party interest-free or low-interest financing
Whatever your situation is, we want you to get the care you need to lead a normal, pain free life. Our patient coordinator will gladly find a good option that will help you to afford the needed care.
