Thank you for choosing Your Family Dentist. We are here to address your dental health needs no matter how little or advanced they are.
Many of our patients have insurances that offer dental benefits, some patients do not find it practical or possible to obtain an insurance coverage. Each of the scenarios have their advantages and disadvantages. Our office will work hard to meet your expectations and deliver the best dental care you deserve.
Insurances. Those insurance plans are usually obtained through the employers or purchased individually. Different insurance plans offer different amounts and levels of the benefits. What's even more important is that the exclusions and limitations of the plans also vary, even within the same insurance carrier. In Your Family Dentist we do our best to help you go through the jungles of questions and paperwork that is an inherritent part of dealing with any insurance. Most of the time we will file all the necessary forms to the insurance companies on your behalf and reduce your stress. In order to utilize your insurance plan in the most effective way we ask for your information in advance. When you are making your first appointment our receptionist will collect the necessary information over the phone and later will verify your dental benefits with your insurance company.
During your first visit (and periodically from that moment on) the dentist will examine your mouth, establish the treatment plan and discuss it with you in details. Please keep in mind that the dentist is making his/her selections based on your dental needs. The dentist does not know what level of benefits your insurance offers and you really don't want him to be biased by this knowledge. An evidence-based dentistry is considered to be the standard for dental care in United States. Our dentists give you advices and make their treatment plan selection based on the evidences of such treatment done in the past successfully. Not by your insurance benefits. Having said this we want to assure you that you will always get an accurate estimate of your portion for the treatment before the treatment actually gets started.
Depending on how advance your dental problems are the situation may arise when the whole cost for the treatment may seem to be prohibitively high. An important part of the mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our patients as possible by offering several payment options.
You can choose from:
- Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card
We offer a 10% courtesy accounting adjustment to patients who pay for their treatment with cash prior to completion of care
- Convenient Monthly Payment Options¹ from CareCredit Healthcare Credit Card
- Allow you to pay over time
- No annual fees or pre-payment penalties
Your Family Dentist requires payment at the beginning of your treatment. If you choose to discontinue care before treatment is complete, your refund will be determined upon review of your case.
For patients with dental insurance we are happy to work with your carrier to maximize your benefit and directly bill them for reimbursement for your treatment.²
